Today, on November 29, the Lithuanian government adopted a resolution on the free transfer of weapons to Ukraine. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.

It is noted that, according to the decree, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will be handed over weapons that are no longer used by the army of Lithuania.

These are automatic rifles, machine guns, mortars, anti-tank guns, ammunition and spare parts for weapons.

"The transfer of weapons occurs in the framework of consistent and comprehensive support from Lithuania's defense capability of Ukraine and the strengthening of its sovereignty," said Defense Minister Raimund Caroblis.

The transfer will occur in the near future, after agreeing all practical issues with the Ukrainian side, noted in the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.

Earlier it was reported that Lithuania intends to transfer weapons to Ukraine by 1.93 million euros.
