Deputy Minister of Health said that the relevant factors will be applied to elderly patients and children. Deputy Minister of Health Pavel Kovtoniuk explained how the tariffs for primary care for patients will change and, accordingly, the salaries of doctors. This is reported Ukrinform.

Answering the question, whether the tariff at 370 UAH per person, which is determined for 2018, to increase, he said: "It depends on the budget. Earlier we talked about 210 UAH per year, now the base rate is UAH 370. It will operate in 2018. For 2019, it is planned to 450 UAH. The elderly and children will be treated with appropriate coefficients. I hope that the tariff will continue to grow with the growth of the economy.

This is a benchmark that we will be sure that we are paying our doctors ".

According to him, in Britain, family doctors are wealthy people.

"We - this will be higher than the average salary in Ukraine. For 2020, we would like to reach the tariff of 500 UAH per year. Such a tariff may be of interest to private medical institutions, "- said Kovtoniuk.

He believes that since 2020, it makes sense to move not just in the direction of increasing the tariff, but its differentiation.
