Ukrainian designers conquered Paris with creative projects

Paris hosts the annual Design Week Paris Design Week 2017. The creative work was also presented by the Ukrainians. This year, a team of designers and artists from Ukraine presented the project "Transformation" at two locations - Les Docks, Cite de la Mode et du Design and the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Paris. Thus, graphic artist Natalia Kolpakova presented a niche collection of silk handkerchiefs with author's prints.

Sky Art Foundation showed a new collection of art ceramics of sculptor Yuri Musatov - My Planet.

Valeriy and Ekaterina Kuznetsovy (decorkuznetsov) together with the designer of the light Nikolay Kabloka (Expolight) created a light installation "Pulse of Life", using as their basis the installation - recycling-stomata Entity. Also, Nikolai Kabluka's laboratory Expolight ArtGlass presented a light installation "Depth". Dnipro designers with SVOYA Studio presented the chair BUFFALO, manufactured in the production of D-borisov.

A furniture brand of new thinking MoDi introduced the winner of the Red Dot Design Award in 2016 - the sofa Tao, designed by Pavel Vetrov. Vyacheslav Balbek demonstrated the transformation of design thinking in the BB0 chair from the designer's personal collection - BB. MZPA company presented the items of several designers - family of NUT family lamps Yulia Kononenko, decorative interior object Flight Shadows Artem Zakharchenko, hanger from Ulyana Zachkevich and Stanislav Boychuk, as well as own development of MZPA - the chair of The Planet.

Architect Sergei Makhno and his studio Sergey Makhno Architects showed a series of subjects "Transformation of Silence" (lamps, furniture, decor). The central elements of the exposition were two Red Dot Design Award winners - Tetrapod concrete tiles and Flapjack multifunctional tiles, in which the designers embodied the concept of "recycling".

According to the organizers, the purpose of the exposition is to demonstrate the ability of objects to transform space and consciousness. Therefore, the exhibits were presented, which can have a specific household purpose, or be accessories-ornaments.
