The indicator of the average pension of existing pensioners will be lower.

Ten years later, new Ukrainian pensioners will receive an average of 6,040 UAH of pension. This indicator is laid in the forecast calculations of the Ministry of Social Policy, prepared on the basis of the macro forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, "Economic Truth". Officially, these calculations were not made public.

The forecast of the average pension size, according to the publication, is made taking into account the pension reform, which was developed by the government.

It is assumed that the average size of pensions for new pensioners will gradually increase and in 2018 will be UAH 2 454, in 2019 - UAH 2,668, in 2020 - UAH 3,048.

At the same time, the indicator of the average pension of existing pensioners will be lower, and in 2028 it will be UAH 4,184. Next year, it is projected at 2,117 hryvnia, in 2019 - 2,188 hryvnia, in 2020, 2,284 hryvnia.

Recall, today, "Today" has developed a pension calculator, which will help determine what kind of pension you can get after the reform.

It is worth noting that the Pension Fund in calculating takes into account the ratio of the salary of the Ukrainian to the national average for each month. Calculations of the "pension calculator" show an approximate figure, provided that the level of wages relative to the national average does not change. Also, the calculator does not take into account the possible surcharges for the excess length of service. The formula takes into account the average wage indicator, which is valid for 2017.
