According to Lutsenko, the statistical indicators for six months show positive results.

Attorney General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that the number of recorded criminal offenses in Ukraine in the first half of the year decreased by 14%. He said this during an operative meeting in the Prosecutor's Office of the Dnepropetrovsk region.

"Statistical indicators for six months show positive results of combating crime and ensuring law and order in the state in your areas. The number of recorded criminal offenses decreased by 14% and is more than 317 thousand, "said Lutsenko.



He added that this is not a very noticeable decrease, but this means that there is a "fairly painstaking work".

"The country has reduced the level of criminal offenses by 10 thousand people, 75 against 86. However, significantly exceeds the national level in the Zaporozhye region - 121 - growth, "the prosecutor general said and added that this means a defect.

Earlier, Yuriy Lutsenko said that salaries of local and regional prosecutors will grow by an average of 10 thousand. UAH, the salary of the Prosecutor General will be increased by 30%.
