In the service itself it is told, this happens because of congestion during peak hours. Now calls are simultaneously accepted by only 10 people. They manage to work out about 2000 calls a day, but not always promptly. In the police the problem is recognized and promised to be solved.

Activists say - you can get through to "102" if you have time. The line works, but often you get not on the person, but on the answering machine. There are no free operators, we have to wait.

"We have started the holiday season and again at" 102 "the problem is to get through. Listening to the music, and you were robbed or knocked on the head at the time, things were taken away, "said civil activist Maxim Mager.

The dispatcher must find out the reason for the call, the scene of the incident, the name and surname of the caller, where he is and the telephone number. According to the rules for all two minutes.

Dispatchers tell us that in reality each call takes up to five minutes. Often victims can not directly answer the operator's questions. The conversation drags on, queues grow. Now there are 10 people working on the "102" line. The police are sure - this is enough to accept 99% of calls.

"You can not get through only at peak times.". Peak time is limited. We will collect 20 people, 40 people. , But all the rest of the time these 40 people will not be involved, "- said the deputy. Chief of service "102" of the National Police in the Odessa region Mikhail Bondar.

After the call, the application is sent to the dispatcher, who determines the priority of the incidents and sends patrol crews. Most calls come in the evening and on weekends. Sometimes you have to choose where to send the attire in the first place, and where it can wait.

"There is congestion at peak times, when there is a flow of applications, incidents or accidents.

Then already the duty officer determines the priority of the assignment and transfers it to the crew, where it is more important to him to arrive, "- said the spokesman of the Odessa police patrol Alla Marchenko.

Now the line "102" and the National Police are looking for new dispatchers. Law enforcers say - when the set is over, the situation will change for the better.

Recall, less than a year ago, residents of Odessa repeatedly complained of interruptions in the work of the hotline "102".
