Removal of solid domestic waste from the city entered the usual mode of operation.

In Lviv, they completely completed the cleaning of all overcrowded garbage sites.

This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional State Administration (OGA).

According to the Department of Development and Operation of Housing and Communal Services, in the period from June 23 to July 13 in the regional center 677 overcrowded garbage pads were removed.

Today the export of solid household waste from the city entered the usual mode of operation.

"The next step is to establish separate collection of solid household waste in Lviv," the State Administration.

Recall, the problem of Lviv garbage was aggravated by a fire at the Gribovic dump in May 2016, after which the landfill was discontinued to ship waste. The city has accumulated more than 14 thousand tons of garbage.

On June 23, the mayor of Lviv, Andrei Sadovy, announced that the regional state administration was transferring powers to remove waste from the city. Garbage took 15 polygons of the Lviv region.
