The police detained two young men in the city of Dnepr who brutally killed a student of the Odessa seminary because of 25 hryvnia and an old mobile phone. This is reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

The 26-year-old came from Odessa, where he studied at a theological seminary, at his grandfather's funeral. In the evening after the requiem the boy met with his childhood comrades and did not return home. In the morning, his father, worried about his son's absence, turned to the police.

On the following day, in one of the abandoned garages in Listopadnaya Street under a pile of household garbage, the police found a corpse of a man with traces of violent death: all the bones of the skull were damaged.

The search for criminals was joined by the staff of the cynological service. The official dog Jesse took the trail. As a result, operatives detained two local residents suspected of murder - 20 and 21 years.

"During the meeting of the student with his comrades, two unfamiliar men approached the company. In due course friends of the guy have left, and he has remained with new friends. The latter suggested that he drink beer, but they said that they have no money. A trustful guy bought young and himself a beer. At this time, the intruders had the intention to rob him.

One of them began to strike in the stomach, and when he fell, they beat two of us. After the victim lost consciousness, the intruders had already continued to apply bangs on the head with a brick. After they took the guy 25 UAH. And an old mobile phone. The boy's body was hidden in one of the abandoned garages and pelted with domestic garbage, "said police investigator Yury Shcherbinin.

On this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened. Attackers face penalties of imprisonment for 7 to 15 years.
