The occupant country continues its attempts to internally destabilize Ukraine.

The State Duma of Russia adopted a law allowing to receive a Russian passport without a certificate of renunciation of citizenship of Ukraine.

Corresponding amendments have been adopted in the laws on citizenship and on the legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation, the Russian media writes.

In particular, the declarative procedure is stipulated without providing confirmation from the Ukrainian side when renouncing the citizenship of Ukraine for obtaining a residence permit and a passport in the Russian Federation.

"Refusal of the existing citizenship of Ukraine is carried out by sending an application for the renunciation of citizenship to the authorized body of this state. A document confirming the refusal of a citizen of Ukraine from his citizenship is a notarized copy of the application, "the law says..

As the head of the State Duma committee for state construction and legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov stated, "it is impossible to get a certificate of the renunciation of citizenship from Ukraine", which is a "well-known fact".

According to him, citizens of Ukraine who want to obtain Russian citizenship sign an application for the renunciation of Ukrainian citizenship, this document is notarized, one copy remains in the migration service of the Russian Federation, the second is sent to Ukraine.

The deputy noted that such a statement would replace a certificate that had to be received before in the authorized bodies of Ukraine.

Recall, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to introduce a system of biometric control for foreign citizens entering Ukraine and the introduction of an electronic pre-registration system for Russian citizens intending to enter Ukraine by January 1, 2018.

The first deputy head of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Franz Klintsevich said that Russia considers tightening the rules of entry into Ukraine equivalent to the introduction of a visa regime and threatened with retaliatory measures.
