We continue to acquaint the readers with the mansions of Kiev, access to which is limited. This time we went to the Puppet Theater in Khreshchaty Park. Spectators, getting into his incredible hall, immediately dipped into a fairy tale. The fresco depicts the founders of Kiev, fairy-tale heroes. On the floor - a huge smiling sun, made of marble. Lamps and chandeliers - in the form of seashells. Sea theme is not accidental: the ground floor, where the wardrobe is located, is made in a marine style. Small viewers can watch dozens of live fish that swim in a huge aquarium. On the wall there is a fresco in the form of a seabed and a large mirror. The floor is decorated with two large fish from marble, chandeliers in the form of jellyfish, and on the walls - sea horses. At the corners in the wardrobe and near the mirror there are sculptures of fairy gnomes that count the wealth in the chests. In general, in the halls of the theater there are 8 of them, the children need to count them all, and touching the eighth white gnome by the nose - then all desires will come true. On the second floor, the walls are decorated with drawings from fairy tales. In the big hall there is an exhibition of puppet theaters, which are already "retired" and are not used in performances. Each can be considered for hours: tablet, parquet, growth, shadow, mechanical. The oldest is the dog Pif on a bicycle (translated as "The Nose"). It was invented in 1945 by a French artist. Piff was very popular in the USSR. The doll-elder was born in 1968, mechanical, and skated on stage. Part of the dolls are stored in the closets in the hall before the entrance to the spectator room. There is a doll of Winnie the Pooh and Kashtanka. The theater recalls how the director once asked the actress who played Kashtanka: "Did you repeat your role?", And she answered him: "Yes ... Gav-gav". Unusual beauty and the Throne Room. Its walls are decorated with the fresco of the prince and the princess, and the wall has four large red armchairs in the form of a throne. Spectators are photographed here by whole families. We were shown the main theater hall, with a peacock on the curtain, and even raised it to show the scenery to a new show.

And on the fourth floor is a small room for 100 people, it can be modeled according to the performance. The wall in front of the entrance is decorated with a colorful panel from the fairy tale "Rukavichka". And the castle is guarded on Mount Kotygoroshko, who conquers the evil serpent. Kievans are sure that in 60 years in the castle will be guided tours, as in the famous House with chimeras.
