US President Donald Trump called on Russia to put an end to interference in Ukraine's internal affairs.

He said this during his speech in Warsaw, "Interfax-Ukraine".

"We urge Russia to stop its destabilizing activity in Ukraine and elsewhere, and support of hostile regimes, including Syria and Iran," he said..

In addition, the US President expressed the desire that Russia "join the community of responsible nations in the fight against common enemies and in the defense of civilization itself".

Russia annexed the Crimea in March 2014. In the summer of the same year, the Russian armed forces began to take direct part in the fighting against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass.
