Due to a short circuit, a fire broke out at the Kiliya Ship Repair Plant. The foreign ship caught fire.

Yesterday, July 5, at 18:20, the ship "vi-STAR" (port of registration of Bratislava, Slovakia) caught fire at the quay of the Kiliya Ship-Building and Shiprepair Plant..
From the moment of entering the factory the ship was in sludge waiting for the beginning of repair work.
The watchman, an employee of the Slovak shipowner, who was on board the ship, did not react in time to smoke in the room, so the fire spread to other living quarters and the wheelhouse, the UDP press-.
The fire was extinguished before it spread to nearby units of the fleet. Also, the spread of fire to the fuel tanks and engine room of the ship.
There were no casualties as a result of the fire, there was no damage to the factory premises and equipment.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire was a short circuit in one of the premises of the vessel. On this fact is being investigated.
