Pyrotechnics received individual armor protection, metal detectors, as well as means to ensure the work on demining.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) provided pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service with equipment for 64 thousand. Euro.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

In particular, pyrotechnics received individual armor protection, modern metal detectors for the search for explosive objects, as well as means for ensuring the demining work.

Assistance was provided by NATO in the framework of the project to support the conduct of humanitarian demining in Ukraine.

In addition, with the support of NATO, scientists from Ukraine and Norway are developing a project to create a 3D mine detector that can locate an explosive object and display its image in three dimensions.

Recall, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Situations Department from the beginning of the year neutralized 121 aircraft bombs.
