Ministry of Ecology: Odessa is one of the dirtiest cities in Ukraine

According to the Ministry of Ecology, Odessa has become one of the most polluted cities in Ukraine.

This is reported by the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service with reference to the Internet edition of "UNN".



The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources summed up the results of 2016 and established the most polluted cities in Ukraine. The list includes Odessa, Dnieper, Kamyan, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Kherson, Lisichansk, Nikolaev, Lutsk, Krivoy Rog, Mariupol, Kiev, Rubezhnoye, Zaporozhye, Uzhgorod. The most polluted areas recognized Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lugansk.

According to the Ministry of Ecology, the level of air pollution is determined by a high concentration of specific hazardous substances. Among them, formaldehyde, phenol, hydrogen fluoride and ammonia.
