The National Commission for State Regulation in the Sphere of Communications and Informatization approved the draft resolution of the Cabinet on the extension of the use of analogue television technology until July 30, 2018.
This is stated on the website of the department.
The Commission agreed on the draft without comment.
"The proposed changes relate to the extension to June 30, 2018 of the use of radio technology Analog TV in Ukraine," the ministry said..
Let's note, earlier it was assumed that the use of analogue TV and radio broadcasting technology in Ukraine will be stopped on June 30, 2017. Prior to this, it was planned to disable analog TV in 2015.
Recall, on May 21, the Ukrainian service Euronews ceased its work.
