In Lviv on June 12, an official decision was taken on the need to declare the city a zone of emergency environmental situation.

This was approved by the Lviv city commission on issues of technological and environmental safety and emergency situations. This is reported by Zaxid. Net.

The decision of the commission does not mean the immediate imposition of a state of emergency - the appeal of the city should be considered by the Cabinet and the National Security and Defense Council. Then the president must issue an appropriate decree.

Consequently, the appeal of the Lviv commission will be sent to all institutions responsible for the final decision - the government, the National Security and Defense Council, the president.

From the zone of emergency ecological situation, according to the legislation, people can be resettled, quarantine can be introduced in the territory, transport traffic can be restricted, mass actions.

Recall residents of Lviv on the night of June 9 for several hours blocked the traffic on several streets of the city with the requirement to export accumulated domestic waste.
