Governor Maxim Stepanov is not satisfied with the work of the department of youth policy and sports of the Odessa regional state administration. In particular, the chairman of the OGA criticized the plan for national-patriotic education of children and youth for 2016-2020. 90% of the funds were planned to be spent on weapon mock-ups.

During the meeting, the Head of the Department of Youth Policy and Sports of the Odessa OGA Vyacheslav Berezutsky said that the approval of the Program of National and Patriotic Education of Children and Youth for 2016-2020. Was problematic, in particular during the budgetary commission. Members of the budget committee were confused that 90% of the funds were planned to be spent on weapons.

According to Berezutsky, mock-ups of weapons were to be purchased, so that children from an early age would get acquainted with the principles of his work. However, the governor Maxim Stepanov did not approve such a proposal and said that he would hardly work further with Berezutsky.
