At the request of the capital's prosecutor's office, the suspect in the attempt on the life of the volunteers of the ATU Adam Osmayev and Amina Okueva was arrested without the right to pledge. This was reported by the press service of the GPU.
He was given a preventive measure in the form of custody for 60 days without the right to pledge. This decision was taken on June 7 by the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv.
The court session was held with the direct participation of the suspect, who was brought to court accompanied by doctors and under intensive protection.
He was charged with committing crimes foreseen by the. 2 items. 15, p. 1 h. 2 items. 115 (attempted murder), h. 1 st. 263 (illegal possession of weapons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Now in the criminal proceedings necessary investigative (investigative) and procedural actions are carried out, aimed at establishing all the circumstances of this crime.
In addition, a number of forensic examinations have been appointed, including a fingerprinting study to identify the identity of the suspect. Also, with the involvement of the Internal Security Department of the National Police of Ukraine, the verification of the circumstances of obtaining a passport of a citizen of Ukraine.

Recall, on June 1 in Kiev, an attack was carried out on the spouses of volunteers Osmayev and Okuev. According to police, a man who called himself a foreign journalist, agreed in advance with the spouses about the meeting.
"When they got into the car, an unknown person took out a Glock pistol from the box and shot Osmaev in the chest. In response, Amin from his pistol, Makarov made several shots in the shooter, "- said law enforcers.
Osmayev and the killer with gunshot wounds were hospitalized.
MP, member of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko called the attacker "an agent of Russian special services". According to Gerashchenko, the man was legalized and legendary in Ukraine in February 2016, under the name of Dakar Alexander Venusovich.
There was also information that the killer, who was trying to shoot Adam Osmayev and his wife Amin Okuyev, was a bandit from St. Petersburg, Arthur Denisultanov-Kurmakaev, nicknamed "Dingo".
