The Russian "Gazprom" is assessed in its favor the balance reached in the dispute with the Ukrainian "Naftogaz".

Commenting on the preliminary decision of the Stockholm Arbitration, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee Alexander Medvedev said at a June 6 press conference.

According to Vedomosti, Medvedev denies that the court abolished the "take or pay" norm in the contract.

A representative of Gazprom commented on the decision of the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice, to arrest the share of Gazprom in Gaztransit. Medvedev called the decision "irresponsible" and threatening gas supply in Russia.

"I do not want to quote Ukrainian and Russian writers about this situation, as their quotes contain profanity," Medvedev said..

Recall, on May 31, 2017, the Stockholm Arbitration fully satisfied the demands of Naftogaz in the case against Gazprom.
