The building, which now houses the "Theater on the Tea", will demolish, and in its place to build a new property. The theater asks the city to find a new room for it at a non-commercial price.

The director of the theater Alexander Onishenko said this at the meeting of the city commission on education, sport, culture and tourism, the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service.

According to him, the theater rented premises for 7 years at the former tea factory, but now it is being evicted.

We need to move out within two months, and find a non-business price space. But we are limited in choosing a place:

we need high ceilings and a hall of at least 100 square meters. We are approaching industrial and assembly halls, - said the director.

Deputy Ilya Mozolev noted that the theater has already become very popular and needs a good place.

During the discussion, the deputies decided to apply to the Department of Communal Property to find the suitable premises. Another option that the deputies suggested was to rent commercial real estate on the condition that the city would pay part of the costs.
