The heads of the defense departments of Ukraine and the Czech Republic agreed to cooperate on the MTR, sappers, engineers, logistics, medicine, as well as the military industry.

Military cooperation between the Czech Republic and Ukraine in all spheres of the defense sector will continue and expand. This at a meeting with Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak was announced by his Czech colleague Martin Stropnitsky, the press service of the ministry.

The ministers signed a joint statement, declaring "readiness to further deepen cooperation in the defense sphere with a view to consolidating efforts in ensuring peace and security both in Europe and abroad".

The cooperation will affect the training of troops in general, training and professional training of the Special Operations Forces, engineering and sniper units, as well as participation in logistics projects. In addition, the defense departments of the countries will jointly work in the military-medical, military-technical and industrial spheres.

Another result of the meeting is the achievement of agreements on the joint participation of Ukraine and the Czech Republic in carrying out multinational exercises.

Stropnitsky also assured his colleague of the "clear position" of the Czech Republic in terms of supporting Ukraine and condemning the occupation of the country's territories by the Russian Federation.
