In Odessa on the streets will install new models of CCTV cameras.

The director of the city department of transport Alexander Ilko told this during the meeting of the executive committee, the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service said. According to him, the cameras will be able to recognize persons and machine numbers, including foreign ones.

The first step was taken in 2016. This year will be put exactly these cameras, - said Ilko.

In the municipality in the near future will present this program, developed jointly with the police.

Let's note, earlier in the city put cameras, which only allowed to monitor the situation.

Recall that the city council allocated this year to help the police about 8 million USD.
