Police officers are prosecuting a 33-year-old resident of the Belyaevsky district, whose daughter yesterday died of burns in a hospital in Vodnikov.

On the fact of the girl's death, criminal proceedings have been initiated under two articles of the Criminal Code: 166 (Malicious failure to fulfill the responsibility for caring for a child or for a person in whom care or guardianship is established) and h. 1 st. 115 (Intentional homicide).

As reported by the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise, the police received a message from the doctor on duty at the Belyaevskaya Central District Hospital that a girl born 2015 with a diagnosis of infectious burns of the front surface of the body, septicemia. The victim with her mother was hospitalized in the burn center of Odessa, where in 5 days the child died.

During the establishment of all the circumstances of this incident, it became clear that the woman was at home in the kitchen with her five children. The smallest of them reached for a kettle of boiling water and knocked it over. My mother tried to treat her daughter herself at home for two weeks, and when she realized that the child was getting worse, she turned to the doctors.

The large family in which the tragedy occurred was described by fellow villagers as a prosperous. On the account of social services it does not appear.
