In Odessa, they develop a plan of measures to combat the disease of measles: doctors see an exit in mass vaccination and additional protective measures.

This was during a press conference, said the chief specialist of the department of state supervision over compliance with the sanitary legislation of the State Consumer Protection Administration in Odessa Olga Balanovskaya, the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service.

According to her, parents will massively agitate children to stop the spread of the virus. While doctors do not call the situation an epidemic, but only talk about growth.

In the epidemiological process, gardens and schools are involved. We started registering family centers.

The most affected groups of children are 4-9 years old, and adults from 30 to 50 years. 80% of sick children are not vaccinated. We appealed to the department of education not to accept unvaccinated children into organized groups, "she said..

Increase in the incidence of medics attributed to low vaccination coverage. So, in 2016 43% of children were vaccinated, and repeatedly - 26%. Doctors are sure that if immunization coverage of 95% of children increases the incidence could be avoided.
