SBU together with the Prosecutor General's Office detained the head of one of the departments of the Main Department of the State Financial Service in the Kiev region. This is reported by the press service of the SBU.

A lieutenant colonel of the tax police demanded four hundred thousand hryvnias from a private entrepreneur for the return of seized property and the closure of criminal proceedings. Law enforcers detained the extortioner in the Solomenskiy district of the capital after receiving the entire amount of bribe. Detainee announced suspicion on h. 3 items. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are continuing.
