On May 9, at security checkpoints to the Walk of Fame law enforcement officers seized from citizens more than five hundred items with prohibited symbols. This was reported by the adviser of the State Institution of the National Policy in the Odessa region Ruslan Forostyak.

According to him, in most cases these were St. George's ribbons.

During the day, 21 people were delivered to the police departments of the Odessa region, a number of administrative protocols were compiled.

173 and 178 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, and 4 criminal proceedings were instituted under Art.. 436-1 (production, dissemination of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of the communist and national-socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes): 1 - the Razdelnia police department, 2 - the Belyaevsky OP and 1 - the Hajibeyevsky OP, as well as 1 criminal proceeding (Primorsky OP) By art. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
