According to the investigation, the head of the Investigative Department of Financial Investigations and the senior investigator of the same department of the State Tax Inspectorate of the State Fund of the Federal Fund for Funds of One of the districts of the capital together with the lawyer demanded an unjustified benefit in a particularly large amount (36 thousand. Dollars) and received part of it (10 thousand. Dollars) from a citizen for assistance in the return of seized property.

Taxpayers are charged with h. 4 items.

368 ("Acceptance of a proposal, promise or receipt of an improper benefit by an official") and h. 2 items. 369-2 ("Abuse of influence") of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In the event that the guilty verdict of the court comes into force, these persons may face punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of 8 to 12 years with confiscation of property.
