Celebrating Victory Day over Nazism in Ukraine did not pass without incident. In Kharkov, a clash occurred during the laying of flowers at the Memorial of Glory, in which about 5 thousand people took part. It broke out between the participants of the action "Immortal Regiment" and patriotic activists.

Participants of the pro-Russian action brought portraits of World War II participants with the inscription "The Immortal Regiment" and the St. George ribbons. Patriotic activists asked them to remove the tapes in order to avoid provocation, but they refused. Because of this, a brawl began, in which the police intervened. Law enforcers then asked the participants of the action "Immortal Regiment" not to go in the general column, so as not to provoke conflicts. Despite this, they lined up in a column and went to lay flowers.

In Zaporozhye a similar conflict situation arose, when the participants of the "Immortal Regiment" brought with them the USSR flag banned in Ukraine. This provoked a clash with pro-Ukrainian activists, among whom were ATU veterans. In the course went the gas cartridges. The situation was interrupted by the police and the National Guard. The gas hit the eyes of the chief of the patrol police of Zaporozhye Roman Pilipenko.

Meanwhile, in Kiev the situation remains tense. The clashes occurred in the morning when the police tried to prevent the nationalists from the OUN from attacking the participants of the "Immortal Regiment".

Blocked activists began to throw smoke chips, potatoes, eggs and packages with paint from the window, trying to get into the participants of the pro-Russian action, which was held nearby. As a result, one policeman was injured.

Later a skirmish occurred near the Memorial of Glory in Kiev. Nationalist activists with a red-black flag chanted "Bandera, Shukhevych - the heroes of Ukraine". Participants in the action "Immortal Regiment" demanded to deploy a red flag forbidden by law.
