Column of the participants of the action "Immortal Regiment" went to the Mall of Glory in Kiev. She accompanies the police, as well as military cadets with the flags of Ukraine, who stand on both sides. In all, 500 people are reportedly taking part in the action. Some of them shout out slogans "Fascism will not pass" and "Thank you to my grandfather for the victory".

Meanwhile, from the police-blocked office of the organization "Voluntary Movement OUN" on Mazepa Street in Kiev, where the procession is marching, they throw packets with paint. In addition, activists are trying to get into the participants of the procession "Immortal Regiment" smoke bombs, which are neutralized by employees of the State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine, and other items that do not reach the participants of the procession through the police cordon.

The action "Immortal Regiment" has a very doubtful character. It was founded in Russia under the guise of a civil initiative. Participants were invited to take to the streets with a photo of deceased relatives who took part in the Second World War.

At present, the pro-Kremlin "All-Russian Popular Front" is engaged in the organization of the action, after which reports began to appear that not all participants come to it voluntarily.

Recall that in Ukraine today celebrate the Victory Day over Nazism.

This state holiday appeared as a result of the adoption on April 9, 2015 by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This year it has already been noted by cases of collisions. In particular, in Zaporozhye on the Victory Day there was a clash near the City Hall. Participants in the action "Immortal Regiment" brought with them a flag of the USSR banned in Ukraine, than angered patriotic activists. East incidents occurred in Kharkov and Odessa.
