Odessa priests had to cancel the procession to the Victory Day

The four-day procession in Odessa, dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, is canceled due to possible provocations.

This is reported by the head of the missionary department of the Odessa diocese of the UOC, Protopriest Oleg Mokryak on his Facebook page.

- We were warned about possible provocations and asked the religious procession not to conduct.

We express our gratitude to all those who had the determination to go places where our brave ancestors heroically defended our hometown of Odessa from the Nazi invaders and shed their blood for our bright future. Note that the procession was to be held from 9 to 12 May on the Belt of Glory of Odessa. All the memorials were to commemorate the dead soldiers.
