In the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, a rally of military equipment from the times of World War II was held, timed to the Day of Memory and Reconciliation and the Victory Day over Nazism in Europe, the press center of the ATU headquarters on its Facebook page.
Residents of the city were shown samples of military vehicles, uniforms and mock-ups of small arms of the Second World War, flowers were placed on the monument to the defending defenders of the city, information campaigns about the place and role of the Ukrainian people in the victory over the invaders.

"The rally is held for the third consecutive year. Yesterday we started with Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Today - Pokrovsk. Ahead - Volnovaha and Mangush. More than 700 people have already taken part in the events, about 100 of which are veterans.
In general, we managed to attract about 25 models of weapons and military equipment. There is a technique of the times of the Second World War - these are exact copies. The guys-reenactors are very sensitive to this. The technique has come its own way, also it will go further on its own. There are also submachine guns, machine guns, pistols, rifles, stabbing weapons, "said Colonel Oleg Malanchuk, the head of the humanitarian assistance group of the joint center for civil and military cooperation of the city of Kramatorsk.
