As a result of the shelling of Zaitsevo by militants, on the evening of May 6 one civilian was injured, the Defense Ministry's spokesman Alexander Motuzianik.
During the briefing on the situation in the ATO, the speaker reported that in Zaitsevo and Majorsk, militants repeatedly violated the regime of silence, using light weapons, including sniper rifles.
"At the same time, late yesterday, as a result of enemy shelling in Zaitsevo, a civilian was wounded," said Motuzianik.
He also confirmed that during the past 24 hours as a result of the fighting, 5 Ukrainian servicemen were injured.
Recall, on March 29, the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk agreed on the introduction of the regime of a complete ceasefire in the ATU zone from April 1, as well as the withdrawal of forces and assets from Luganskaya Stanitsa.
Since the announcement of the silence regime in the ATU zone, militants have been violating it daily, including actively using the types of weapons prohibited by the Minsk accords.
