In which already once scientists conduct a study of wine and find in it useful properties. The result of the latest scientific work was the conclusion that the use of wine in moderation has a beneficial effect on the safety of our cells, writes "Orthodox". The study was conducted under the guidance of Adelaide Esteban-Fernandez of the Institute for Scientific Research in Foodstuffs (Madrid, Spain) with the assistance of American and British colleagues. Scientists at this time decided to study not the alcohol itself, but its metabolites formed in the body after consumption. Experts "lent" metabolites to volunteers who regularly, but in small quantities, consume wine, and placed them in human cells under stressful conditions.
Usually stress for a cell means death, and mass death of cells can cause the development of some diseases - it's not for nothing that people say: "all diseases are from nerves". The experiment showed that the wine metabolites protect the "nervous" cells from death, and thus prevent disease. However, a surprise for scientists was the fact that such an effect can be achieved only in the presence of all metabolites, in other words, they act only in their entirety.
