Russian ships, based in the water area of ??the occupied Crimea, tried to seize the Ukrainian boat of the Marine Search and Rescue Service in the Black Sea during the exercise, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

The department said that the rescue boat on April 24 conducted regular exercises in the area of ??Skadovsk, when it approached the ships of the Russian Federation. They went on the air with the demand to "stop the course and lie down in the drift".

But the Ukrainian sailors refused to fulfill the unlawful demands of the occupiers and reminded them that the boat is in the territorial waters of Ukraine. After this, the sailors headed for Skadovsk. Thanks to their actions, it was possible to prevent the capture of the boat by Russian invaders.

"Our crew showed confident actions. Despite the calls of the international community, the Russian military continues to resort to violations of Ukrainian borders both at sea and in the East of Ukraine, but their saber rattling does not frighten us. The occupied territories will return under the control of Ukraine, "said Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan.

He also reported that the crew of the ship for their professionalism will receive awards.

Recall, in late February, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Navy, Igor Voronchenko, said that the Russian occupiers were dismantling spare parts for the ships of the Ukrainian Naval Forces that remained in the occupied Crimea. They are used as donors of components for ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

"Ships stand separately, they were allocated as a technique of a foreign state. But according to our data, they exist as donors, they are dismantled. ", - explained Voronchenko.
