The Decree of the National Commission Regulating Energy and Utilities (NCREC) No. 348 of March 28 "On Establishing Tariffs for Gas Transportation Services for Ukrainian Consumers for Entry and Exit Points for PJSC Ukrtransgaz" is suspended.
This decision was taken by the Kiev District Administrative Court at the suit of people's deputies.
At the same time, the applicants pointed out that at the April 10 meeting the NCREC decided to cancel its resolution No. 348 completely, however, in the process of registration, the decision was unlawfully changed - by abolishing only part of Decision No. 348 (leaving its part relating to the GTS entrance).
Earlier, NKRECU approved a new methodology for determining the cost of connection to power networks with a capacity of 150 kilowatts to 5 megawatts. According to it, the cost of non-standard connection to electric grids in 2017 is set at UAH 3,700 to 11,300 per kilowatt.
It should be noted that in the case of a standard connection, an energy company pays for it, that is, in our conditions - a monopolist. But for non-standard - the consumer. Thus, if he needs to join the source of electricity, and the distance to this source exceeds 300 meters, the cost of the service will be from 3,700 to 11,300 hryvnia per kilowatt. The same rule applies to situations where the consumer needs an electric power of more than 50 kilowatts.
The experts called this decision a blow to the business, for which, as a result, consumers will have to pay.
