Over the past day, April 29, as a result of fighting in the east of Ukraine, two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, four more fighters were injured, said the Defense Ministry's spokesman Alexander Motuzyanik.
"Two days ago two Ukrainian servicemen were killed, four were wounded. We express our condolences to the families and friends of the deceased soldiers, "he said at a briefing in Kiev on Sunday.
According to the speaker of the staff, the situation in the ATU zone remains extremely tense, the Russian-occupation forces continue to use heavy weapons in all three directions. But the intensity of its use has decreased significantly compared to the previous days.
"At the same time, cases of enemy use of artillery yesterday were recorded only in the Lugansk direction. In total for the past day the enemy violated the "silence" regime 54 times, 14 times of them - with the use of heavy weapons, "stressed Alexander Motuzijanik.
