It cancels the division of the gas tariff for consumers into the cost of gas as a commodity and the subscription fee for its delivery.

On April 10, the National Commission canceled its resolution on the introduction of a subscription fee for gas.

On March 28, NCREC adopted a new methodology for calculating the cost of gas for the end user. Since April 1, the gas tariff was to consist of two components: gas prices as a commodity and the cost of its transportation through the gas transportation system and distribution by regional gas distribution networks. The subscription fee was calculated based on the maximum capacity of the customer counter.

As a result, the subscription fee for those consumers who have only a gas stove and counter G 1.

6, can grow by an average of 1-4 times, and for owners of gas stoves without a counter - increase by an average of 5-8 times. Also, the new methodology for calculating tariffs would allow the oblgas to earn an additional 7.7 billion UAH per year.

The decision caused criticism from Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman and Social Development Minister Andrei Reva. He said that the introduction of a monthly payment for gas will increase the final cost of gas for 4.5 million Ukrainians. The budget does not provide for funds to subsidize such an increase.
