The Standing Committee of the Kyiv City Council on Culture, Tourism and Information Policy agreed to rename some streets, lanes and squares in the capital.

As the press service of the city council informs, in particular, they intend to rename:.

1) ul. Krasnovodskaya on the street. Khotinskaya in the Podolsky district;.

2) ul. Dneprodzerzhinskaya on the street. Kamenskaya in the Darnytskyi district;.

3) ul. Nikolay Lebedev on the street. Yuri Amendments in the Dnieper region;.

4) ul. Yaroslav Galan on the street. Augustin Voloshin in the Solomenskiy district;.

5) ul. Dnepropetrovsk on street. Novokodatskaya in the Solomenskiy district;.

6) ul. Krasnodonskaya Street. Kuchmin Yar in the Solomenskiy district;.

7) ul. Lebedev-Kumacha St.. Nikolay Golego in the Solomenskiy district;.

8) ul. Socialist on the street. Levko Matzievich in the Solomensky district;.

9) ul. Moldavskaya on the street. Heroes-firefighters in the Shevchenko district;.

10) ul. Timofey Shamrylo on the street. Parkovo-Syretskaya in the Shevchenko district;.

11) ul. Eugene Potier on the street. Anton Tsedika in the Shevchenko district.

In addition, a new name - the lane of Boris Shakhlin - can get a Gorky lane in the Goloseevsky district. It is planned to rename the Dnepropetrovsk highway to the Dnieper highway, the International square to the Valeria Marchenko square, and the Krasnodonsky lane to give the historic name - Kuchmin Yar street.

In addition, the names for 39 new streets are defined. Most of them - 24 - are in the Goloseevsky district of the city. They can receive the names of Nazarii Yaremchuk, Ostap Veresay, Boris Matyushenko, Alexander Udovichenko, Sergei Shelukhin, Grigory Goloskevich, Theodosius of Pechersky. Another 15 new streets are located in the Desniansky district.

They are invited to assign the names of Mikhail Belinsky, Vasily Bednov, Voroniy Family, Yaroslav Stetsko, Grigory Kosynka, Lesya Tanyuka, Eugene Pluzhnik, Isa Munaev.

All renaminations were public discussions on a single web portal of the territorial community in the special section E-CITY.

Then the decision should be made by deputies at the plenary session of the Kyiv city council.
