A single center of vocational education will appear in the north of the Odessa region. This became known at a meeting on the reform of vocational schools.

"We agreed to create a single center of vocational education in the north of Odessa, which will be put on a parity and proportional basis of vocational schools of Kodym, Balt and Savran districts. It will be monitored the resources of each of the schools, developed an analyst on the real needs of each of the districts, "- said the deputy of the Regional Council Alexander Barsky.

According to him, the state order in the vocational school will be a set of tractor drivers and gardeners and vegetable growers. Other specialties - only under contract or at the expense of the local budget.

Note that the issue was discussed in connection with the information about the forthcoming closure of the Kodym vocational school.

"Kodym vocational school - the danger of liquidation is postponed. But to survive, you need to change. The educational institution should be of interest to employers, and its leadership should be perspective. The future of the school is in cooperation with business, effective land use, energy saving and public control, "said the chairman of the Kodym District Administration Vadim Kozachok.
