On April 27 more than 100 fighters of the National Guard came to patrol the central streets in Odessa.
As explained in the Department of Communication of the police of the Odessa region, the city conducted joint exercises of the National Police and National Guard to ensure public safety during the mass events, the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service.
As the result of the exercises can be noted, - said the head of the police department in the Odessa region, Dmitry Golovin, - that the units of the National Police, the National Guard and the State Emergency Service have improved the skills of joint actions in carrying out official tasks and responding to possible manifestations of provocations, hooliganism and other violations of the law.
Note that the number of national guards by May 2 on the streets of Odessa will increase to 300 people.
