The public organization "The Committee of Voters of Ukraine" published "The rating of the activity of the heads of the State Administration for the first quarter of 2017".

When drafting it, experts assessed two indicators: indicators of socio-economic development of regions and the results of surveys of local analysts. In total, the indicators were evaluated in five areas:.

- Development of industry;.

- Development of agriculture;.

- The pace of construction;.

- Level of incomes of the population;.

- Export and import.

The places at the end of the rating were occupied by the Kherson region and its head Andrey Gordeev, Cherkasskaya headed by Yuri Tkachenko, Rovenskaya led by Alexey Mulyarenko, Chernivtsi together with the governor Alexander Fischuk and Volynsky together with Vladimir Gunchik.

Compared to the results of 2016, the Volyn region deteriorated its performance and moved from 19 to the last place, losing five positions. The list of outsiders included Cherkasy region. The indicators of the Rivne and Chernivtsi regions did not change much. However, Kherson region was able to rise from the last month to the 20th.

According to experts, the leaders of the regions that have taken the last places in the rating may soon lose their positions if they do not significantly improve the results.
