The fluent People's Deputy Alexander Onishchenko wrote "compromising evidence" on President Petr Proshenko after the main arrests on the "gas case," and not before the investigation began, "LigaBusinessInform" director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Artem Sytnik.

"All records were made after his group was detained. What kind of politics in these records, I honestly do not understand, "- said the head of the NABU.

He also confirmed the existence of criminal proceedings on the fact of Onishchenko's allegations of alleged bribery on behalf of the president of the Verkhovna Rada deputies for a vote on personnel reshuffles in the Prosecutor General's Office and the Security Service of Ukraine. However, according to Sytnik, these charges "have remained unfounded".

"In addition to the statements, he made public two entries, made already after the fact. Honestly, the content of statements and films does not match. He talked about one thing, and gave a very different account. I am sure that this is being done to politicize the case. But if we look at the situation objectively, that is, an unsubstantiated statement that has not been confirmed by anything, and there are records made after the main arrests in the case under the gas scheme have already been carried out, "said the head of the Bureau.
