The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) does not agree with the decision of the court to bury ex-deputy from the "Popular Front" Nikolay Martynenko and first deputy head of Naftogaz of Ukraine Sergey Pereloma, according to the website of the bureau..

"According to detectives, with the available measure of restraint (personal guarantee), suspects can exert pressure on witnesses, as well as commit other acts aimed at destroying evidence of their criminal activities. This is especially true of former people's deputy Nikolai Martynenko, who has influence in the highest political circles, "the Bureau stresses.

NABU expects that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will be able to defend the position of the investigation in the appellate instance.

The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office (SAP) appeals against the court's refusal to arrest ex-deputy Nikolay Martynenko and first deputy chairman of the board of Naftogaz Ukrainy, Sergei Perelom.

Solomensky District Court of Kiev dismissed the first deputy chairman of the board of Naftogaz Ukrainy, Sergei Perelom, under the personal guarantee of a number of people's deputies.

Thus, the court refused to prosecute the election of a restraining measure for the type of detention with an alternative to making a pledge in the amount of 150 million UAH.

Today, on April 22, Solomensky District Court of Kyiv denied the arrest of former people's deputy Nikolai Martynenko and released him on bail under personal guarantees of people's deputies.
