The introduction of the Chaplaincy in the MAT will be carried out in two stages. At the first stage until the end of June military chaplains will appear in combat units, and before the end of the year in all units of the armed forces. Chaplains will need to pass an interview with the commanders of military units and receive an appointment.

In the combat brigades, according to Gruntkovsky, two to four chaplains will work.
