As a result of the crash of the cargo ship "Heroes of Arsenal" three people were killed, two of whom were citizens of Ukraine. Another sailor (Ukrainian) managed to save. The fate of the rest is not known at the moment, the Consular Service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on April 20.
The fate of the rescued sailor is informed that now his state of health is satisfactory. The search works continue.
Earlier it was reported that in the Black Sea at a distance of about 14 miles from the coast of the Crimea crashed dry cargo ship "Heroes of Arsenal" (flag of Panama, until 2013 - port of registration Kherson). On board the ship, which was sent from the Russian port "Azov" to Turkey with grain cargo, there were 12 people.
According to the Crimean Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation "among the crew - nine Ukrainians, two Russians, one sailor from Georgia".
Currently, the rescue of one person is confirmed, four more rescuers were noticed from the air, the fate of the seven remains unknown.
According to Russian media, a Ukrainian sailor named Chernenko, born in 1982, was brought aboard the Russian tanker arriving at the site of the accident.
On Thursday with the dawn in the Black Sea, the search works resumed.
