During 2024, the number of cyber attacks for government and defense organizations increased significantly. According to the State Center for Cyber Promotion of the State Personnel, the number of cyberincents in the energy sector and the security and defense sector has increased more than doubled. The decision taken by the Government will make it possible to respond much more quickly to threats arising from increased cyber attacks from the aggressor.
The realization of new powers will help strengthen the country's defense capacity, protect personal data, data about critical infrastructure and military resources, as well as a reduction in the risk of information leakage, which can be used by the aggressor for high -precision strokes or other destructive actions.
It is worth recalling that government agencies that want to strengthen their cyber defense can contact the State Center for Cyber Defense of the State Special Communications Service to receive support and connect to the services of the Vulnerability Identification System (VDS). In particular, these are: network sensors (NDR), final points (EDR) protection sensors, attack surface control (ASM).

Recall that in the summer of 2024, the State Pedagogical University ordered providers until December 1, 2024 to ensure that 80% of the mobile base bases work even after 10 hours of power outage. In February 2025, all 100% of mobile base stations must have a ten-hour safety margin.
The State Pedagogical University put forward more modest requirements to the supply of electronic communication services by operators. The minimum time set for the operation of the corresponding base stations for communication services is limited to 72 hours. Such requirements may include both the establishment of a mobile electro -generator installation and batteries for the mentioned time - three days. By December 1, 2024, almost 70% of transport hubs and points of backbone and regional electronic communication networks were already provided with adequate power reserves.
