The Einstein Probe Space X -ray telescope discovered an explosion of low -energy radiographic radiation in the early universe. This event was called EP240315A, and lasted for 17 minutes, after which its brightness decreased, and it disappeared. Astronomers are puzzled by the properties of this outbreak of X -ray light, which is difficult to explain. The study, published in the journal Nature Astronomy, suggests that the understanding of the brightest electromagnetic events in the Universe will have to change, writes Phys..

Astronomers have found that a burst of long-lasting X-ray emission originated at a distance of about 12.5 billion light years from us.. That is, it arose 1.3 billion years after the Big Bang and for billions of years the light from this explosion traveled to Earth.
According to scientists, EP240315A is the first explosion of X -ray radiation, which has existed for so long and was discovered in such an early period of the history of the universe.
Subsequent observations with the help of ground telescopes showed that the emission of radiation and energy was associated with the usual gamma-free gamut. These are the most vivid events in the universe that arise during the explosion of massive stars.
Further analysis of the data showed that the EP240315A event is associated with GRB 240315C gamma-free.. Although gamma-rays are associated with emissions of X-ray radiation, the EP240315A event has its differences.
Typically, X-rays occur several tens of seconds earlier than gamma radiation.. But event EP240315a occurred 6 minutes before the gamma-ray burst appeared. Scientists have never seen this before.
The authors of the study say that, given this fact, as well as a very large duration of the existence of an outbreak of X-ray radiation, this suggests that there are still riddles in the nature.
Scientists say that this discovery can lead to the fact that it will have to be changed.
Focus has already written that as the new discovery shows, the universe is controlled by mysterious power. New data on the Universe indicate that a new physicist may have a new physicist, or the mysterious force has changed space over billions of years.
Focus also wrote that astronomers have discovered a new, unexpected source that creates bright, mysterious radiation known as fast radio bursts.
