IT specialists of the North Atlantic Alliance and the military departments of some Eastern European countries noticed attempts by Russian hackers to penetrate their databases. The Google Threat Analysis Group published a report on recorded cyber activity from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Responsible for the cyber attack is a hacker group known as Coldriver, otherwise Callisto, located in Russia.
The main targets of cybercriminals were the armed forces of several Eastern European countries, which are not specified, and the NATO Center of Excellence.
