The Euro-Japanese space probe BepiColombo early in the morning on Saturday, October 20, launched to Mercury.

Launcher Ariane 5 with Bepicolombo was launched from the Kourou launch site in French Guyana.

According to specialists, the probe, whose length is 6.40 meters, and weight - 4.1 tons, will reach the planet nearest to the Sun in December 2025. Then, two autonomous satellites will separate from it, which will explore Mercury from two different orbits..
