A new computer virus has infected about 500,000 devices in more than 50 countries around the world. This is reported by the US telecommunications company Cisco Systems. Malicious software, codenamed VPNFilter, affects network hardware, in particular routers and drives. Using the utility, attackers can not only steal data about sites, but also disable digital devices. Experts of the company note that VPNFilter is distributed in 54 countries, especially actively - in Ukraine.
